66 troncs retournés: il pleut des cabers sur le Guiness Book

En ce moment, il ne pleut pas des hallebardes. Encore moins des chats et des chiens, comme le disent si bien les anglais. Mais du côté d'Inverness, le week-end dernier, il a plu des cabers (photo bbcnews) 66 troncs d'arbre ont été retournés simultanément...

Voeux de Noël: le blogueur se casse le tronc

A Noël, il y a ceux qui entonnent "Mon beau sapin" ou qui décorent le conifère en famille. Et puis il y a le fan des Highland Games. Alors, comme lui, je me suis cassé le tronc pour mes voeux de Noël "T'as raison, fiston. C'est le tronc de Noël parfait"...

Cornemuses, lanceurs et strongmen: la vidéo de TV Ouest

Au menu: pipe-bands, record du monde au lancer de fût Coreff et retourné de troncs d'arbre. Avec, en prime, les Strongmen au porté de pierres de 100 à 150 kilos et le tiré de camion. Les Highland Games 2013 comme si vous y étiez, selon la formule de TVOuest....

Des troncs qui volent...

Il n'y a pas que les troncs pillés. Il n'y a pas que les troncs volés... Il y a aussi aussi les tronc qui volent, propulsés par les lanceurs des Highland Games. Avec en prime, le coup de patte du champion juge-arbitre Hans LOLKEMA en démonstration photo...

The final event and a grand finale. A larch trunk measuring 5.30m and weighing 67 kilos must be tossed and turned and kept as close as possible to the hands of a clock in the twelve o'clock position. 12 o’clock? High Noon... And what a shoot out it was...
