A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year on the blog

Highland Games France wishes all the fans of Highland Games and the readers of the blog a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

And our Bockie is very proud to be our spokesman and to toss a caber full of hope for 2018 after an exceptionnal European Championship in June 2017 at the castle in Bressuire-the-Scot.

That was a great year for the winner Vlad Tulacek!

Alain ROUSSELOT et Jean-Claude BORDONNAT, les two presidents de Highland Games France and all their team are already preparing the next competition in Bressuire. It will not be in 2018 but in 2019.

And, of course, they will all do their best to host, once more, an exceptionnal competition with most of the high-flyers of the Highland Games world.

It's to early to know what the line-up will look like in June 2019, but you can expect, as usual, to see the best throwers.

And you can expect to spend a fantastic week-end at the Bressuire castle with the competitors, the pipers, the dancers and all the actors of this exceptionnal show in France.

The 200 volunteers are already ready to make it enjoy this event in Bressuire-the-Scot!,
