Bressuire, France and Pleasanton, USA: Dan McKIM superstar

There is no doubt about it:  Dan McKIM is definitely the thrower of the year.Everybody remembers he became the 2015 IHGF World champion in Bressuire after the final event, weight for height, and a winner at 5.10m under the pouring rain. His title ha been the conclusion of a splendid competition with Matt VINCENT and a last-minute victory after the final event. An unbelievable 52 cms: A bigger arm than Seb Wenta’s

Hey Seb, you have lost one of your records! I’m sure you remember the blog celebrated your right arm in one of its posts a few weeks ago ? It was entitled: Who's the biggest arm in this exceptionnal line-up? 50 cms : That was great, that was exceptionnal ! 52 cms: encore mieux que les biscotos de Seb WENTA...

Seb WENTA a toujours les plus beaux biscotos du circuit des Highland Games avec ses 50 cms mesurés à la veille des mondiaux bressuirais. Who's the biggest arm in this exceptional line-up?

In France, we like competitions. All kinds of competitions.. So, during the presentation of the throwers to the sponsors the day before the IHGF Worlds in Bressuire, they all laughed when the speaker-blogger decided to check who had the biggest arm... Of course, there wouldn't be another opportunity  like that in Bressuire, France with such a line-up between 104 and 155 kilos. Just have a look! Truck pulling: Sebastian WENTA superstar

To round off the Highland Games, the visitors were treated to another mindboggling Strongman event – truck pulling. The challenge: to pull a 5 tonne truck over several meters using sheer physical force. Jonathan KELLY did his Strongman best but failed to budge the beast. That was also very hard for Stuart ANDERSON But luckily Sebastian WENTA was there to save the day. With polish (only natural – he’s Polish) he succeeded in pulling the truck forward 15m20 in 22’30. Sébastian WENTA: Fort comme un camion

La ville de Bressuire est devenue LA spécialiste du tiré de camion. La preuve en double exemplaire! Elle s'en est fait tirer deux aux Espaces Verts. Ils sont déjà partis, paraît-il, à des centaines de kilomètres... Elle s'en est fait tirer un troisième le 9 juin au château.
