IHGF Worlds: a Bockie tour to promote the Games

Bockie, the Highland Games mascot, is a star in Bressuire where he has just been interviewed by the blogger.For the first IHGF Worlds in France, the French Highland Games committee and its chairman Jean-Louis COPPET have chosen a caber-tossing Bockie to promote the World Championships.The bill designed by Philippe GAUFFRETEAU focuses on this event with a caber from Scotland falling straight into the Bressuire Château. The 12 Champions 4- Matt DOHERTY, Canada

The Canadian Matthew DOHERTY will have no real problem with his French when he comes to Bressuire for the Worlds. Of course, his résumé is in English but the champion born in Quebec has added a short message in French to the Bressuire blogger: "Allo, Alain Matthew Doherty, 30 ans, Enseignant à Antigonish, Nouvelle Écosse J'ai aussi pratiqué l'athlétisme, l'haltérophilie, le judo, le badminton, le squash, le volleyball. The 12 Champions : 3- Sinclair PATIENCE, Scotland

No Highland Games without Scots! This will be twice true in Bressuire.Sinclair PATIENCE will be one of their two representatives at the Castle. And he will be ready for the year's most important event: the IHGFworld championship in Bressuire.Sinclair perfectly knows that Patience and time run through the longest day. Like Scott RIDER, he comes from Track and Field.When he was younger, he became a Scottish Champion in Discus and Shot Put. Throwers and Judges for the Worlds: Don't worry, be Heavy!

At the Bressuire castle for the 2015 IHGF Worlds, there will be no real differences between the official judges and the 12 throwers. They all belong to the same category: they are Heavies. 2014 Flasback (3): The year of the hammer

For the Chinese zodiac, 2014 was the year of the horse Definitely, for the Highland Games, it was the year of the horse-power.Especially for hammer-throw.
