Scott RIDER, a British coach for the Bressuire Bockers
The Bressuire throwers are called the Bockers.
Of course, they want to be as fit as possible before the next French Championships on June 13 and 14.
And last week-end, thanks to Jean-Louis COPPET, they had a special priviledge: they were coached by Scott RIDER, one of the favourites for the IHGF Worlds in Bressuire.
Scott flew to Bressuire to teach them the tricks of the trade and he giae them useful indications to improve their technique.
And he did it in French...
The programme started with weight over bar and weight for distance (photo)
Just before lunch-break on Saturday, he used this opportunity to sign a few autographs at a local DIY store and to speak about hammers. Just a click to read the post "If I had a hammer"
When you throw as far as he does, no doubt you can give advice both to managers and customers...
This is what he did before the traditionnal photo with the BricoPro staff, the Bressuire piper and "Highland Games France" members
Hammer and tongs:
All through the week-end, Scott insisted on hammering his point home.
And he managed to be understood.
The French Bockers, indeed, worked so hard that they went at it hammers and tongs.
Now they are ready for the French Championship...
