Tug of War: Fashion Week in Lonach
There is a kind of elegance when Heavies throw stones or toss cabers during Highland Games.
But this is just the same with some competitors for a tug of war.
Just have a look at these photos by Sebastien PIZON during the Lonach Highland Games in Scotland!
It's not only a competition.
It just looks like "Fashion Week" on the Green.
Elegant, aren't they?
In Lonach, they are smart, even when they help the throwers.
Before tossing the caber, Sebastien PIZON, the French Bocker, had never been helped by Scots in their Sunday's best.
And he did appreciate...
In Lonach, when they pull the rope or when they march, elegance seems to be their first concern.
These Highlanders are proud to respect an ancestral tradition during the Highland Games.
But the real question for most of the readers of the bog is sill the same:do they also respect traditions under the kilts?
Just ask Sébastien and he will let you know..
