Bastille Day for Bressuire and for the Highland Games
The Highland Games are getting more and more popular in Bressuire and in France.
And that's good news for the blog and an opportunity to celebrate with fireworks just after Bastille Day...
A growing popularity in France
Thanks to the European Championship in the Bressuire castle, www.highlandgames.canalblog.com has broken a new record: 3.594 visitors in June (previous record: 1604 in March).
And, according to the institute ebuzzing, it's now in the "Top 100" of the sports blogs in France, ranking 77.
That's promising for a young blog and for a new sport in France. There's only a couple of Highland Games every year and about twenty-five French competitors in three teams: Luzarches, Saint-Michel sur Orge and Bressuire.
Thanks a lot to all the visitors from France and from all over the world.
3.594 thanks!
Bastille Day in the castle
And, just after Bastille Day, let's celebrate with fireworks!
Let's put the Bressuire castle on fire once more: after the Highland Games, the celebrations on July 14....
You may be sure we'll do everything we can to send our French Highland Games higher, stronger, bigger!
Thanks everybody and see you soon on the blog!
