red hot chili pipersFrom Red Hot Chili Peppers to Red Hot Chili Pipers, it is one small step for the lips but a giant leap for the ears.

Indeed, the Red Hot Chili Pipers’ combination of rock and bagpipes is mindblowing, making them without a doubt the avant garde of Celtic hard rock music.

The group’s name may have been inspired, tongue-in-piper’s-cheek, by the famous American rock group, but they have since become international stars in their own right.

More spice for the Highland Games

However, the Red Hot Chili Pipers have performed only twice in France : once at the prestigious Lorient Interceltic Festival in 2008 and again at Bercy for St Patrick’s Day.

Jean-Louis Coppet decided that their next French venue would be Bressuire, and thanks to his determination, they have signed up to add some spice to the next Highland Games.
